Description:  Built by Alco-Schenectady in 1911, Boston & Maine 4-6-2 Pacific #3625 led a very productive serviece record. It was rebuilt and reclassified several times and had an Elecso feedwater hearter installed. Between 5/23/1949 to 5/27/1949, it was used on the Barre & Chelsea train #1&2 due to a diesel breakdown. The loco was finally scrapped in August of 1955. Specs - class P-2-a (P-2-b in 12/1918, P-2-d in 7/1924), 73" drivewrs, 200psi boiler pressure, engine wt of 238,000 lb, tractive effort of 31,600 lab. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo but it appears to be in Boston, NA..
