Chuck Zeiler General The SCL 3400 is basically a cut down RS3 which was built in 12/16/74 by Railway Supply of Alabama from the former SCL 1201, nee SAL 1691. It was initially delivered as SCL 3225 and was renumbered in 1975. From about 1977 on, it was coupled to the SCL GP35 1400, nee ACL 909, where it was used in drag service out of the Darlington and Florence SC area.
