PC 4902, GG-1, c. 1969         
Electric Action. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Penn Central engine #4902, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata as Pennsylvania Railroad number "4909" in May of 1940, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and renumbered "4902" by the Penn Central. In this context, it's been repainted and dubbed "American Railroads: 1869-1969" in honor of the 100th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
