CNW 4-6-2 #607 - Chicago & North Western         
With a head of steam and a tender full of coal, CNW 4-6-2 Pacific #607 is ready to roll on its day's schedule. Built by Alco-Schenectady in December of 1915 as CNW 1607, ti was later renumbered to CNW 607 in 1952. No final disposition date was found for the loco but it was scrapped. Specs - serial #55537, class E, 75" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine wt of 261,000 lb, tractive effort of 36,700 lb. A stoker was applied in March of 1941. No photographer was listed for the photo.
