CNW 4-6-2 #592 - Chicago & North Western         
Loaded with coal, steam up and just waiting its turn for a daily commuter run is Chicago & North Western 4-6-2 Pacific #592. Built by Alco-Schenectady in March of 1914 and originally carrying the number CNW 1592, it was much later renumbered CNW 592 in 1952. No dispostion date was found but would have been later in 1950's. Specs - class E, 75" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine wt of 261,000 lb, tractive effort of 36,700 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.
