Here is page nine of a ten-page cover article by John R. Crosby entitled "Second Engine 28: Three Fingers Down On The Rump Meant 3 Minutes Late." It was published originally in the March 1975 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 50. Shown here is an in-cab view of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #830, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in April of 1958 after 41 years of faithful service.
