Here is the fourth of four successive photos by G.C. Corey via Rail Photo Service. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6402 and another locomotive whose number is not recorded. Both are "J" Class (2-10-4) "Texans" built in Juniata. #6402 was built in June of 1943 and retired in April of 1958 after just 15 years of service. After the other train cleared, #6402 & Company resume their sojourn. The date and the location are not recorded. John S. Fisher Collection; #9 of 13. |
