| Milwaukee Road GP9m 982 rests at Rices Point Yard in Duluth MN April 1971. Milwaukee Road rebuilt a number of GP9s into "GP20" models, not to be confused with the actual EMD GP20 turbocharged model. These were still rated at 1750 or 1800HP.
