| In August of 2017 just seven months after Pan Am acquired its first batch of C40-8's from GE (former CSX) we find one that made its way up the Brunswick Branch, seen here on PO-2 at Hillside near Grant Rd. in Brunswick in sweet evening light with MEC 606 trailing. Six axle power on the branch is rare to begin with but does happen from time to time if nothing else is available and while 606 would definitely have been the preferred leader it was cool to see a C40-8 up in this neck of the woods. |
