| Big Boy 4021 sits forlorn and abandoned on a siding in Cheyenne just after Christmas, 1959. Steam is all but extinct on the UP. A Big Boy will not run again until 4014 is repaired and restored in 2019. Note that the rear light door is open and the windows are covered in 4021, and the number boards and pistons have been removed from the Big Boy ahead of it.
