The last trip on the New Glarus branch. Crossing the IC Madison branch at Monticello. In the early 1960's, the Milwaukee Road proposed abandoning the branch between Brodhead and Monticello and securing trackage rights over the IC Madison district to serve Monticello and New Glarus.
