GRR S1
Delivered to Wabash as U25B 507 in August 1962, this locomotive would become Norfolk & Western 3523 in 1965 then renumbered NW 8146 in 1970. After retirement by N&W it was rebuilt by Southeast Specialties as Slug S1 in June 1980 for Georgetown Railroad and arrived in the blue paint scheme. In this photo S-1 shows off the latest red GRR paint with white striping and bold lettering parked outside the Georgetown shop in the namesake city.

Matthew Liptak General Looks like there was a mistake in entering the locomotive information on this photo. Nice shot anyways. 8/12/2014 7:55:24 PM
