This locomotive was built in March 1949 (c/n 8917) on EMD Order E1006A, became BN 9922 sometime after Mach 2, 1970, and was sold for scrap to Precision Engineering June 14, 1971. It was delivered with Aluminum painted side panels, and during a shopping, the painted panels were replaced with stainless steel laminate panels. Note that the trailing E7 has the original painted side panels. It was equipped with two steam generators. This is an extreme example of panning (moving the camera) to capture the moving subject. Unfortunately, everything else is blurred. |
